On Friday 14 March, the Urban Campfire drop-in jewellery making workshop was a fantastic success.

A big thank you to everyone who came along for this inspiring session with artist Laila Marie Costa. It was wonderful to see so many participants unleashing their creativity, crafting unique earrings and necklaces from recycled and found materials.

Beyond the beautiful handmade jewellery, attendees gained valuable new skills, connected with others in the community, and enjoyed a warm and welcoming environment.

A special thank you to Paula Mahoney, Urban Campfire curator and all the supporters who helped make this workshop a reality, including:

  • Neighbourhood Justice Centre (NJC)
  • City of Yarra Arts Grants
  • Collingwood Yards
  • Belgium Avenue Neighbourhood House (BANH)
  • Collingwood Neighbourhood House.

We look forward to more inspiring events like this in the future.
