On Tuesday 18 March, we had the privilege of attending the Carringbush Adult Education morning tea to celebrate their incredible 40-year (or perhaps 41-year, as CEO Margaret Corrigan noted) journey. No matter the number, it was a wonderful occasion to recognise the vital work Carringbush does in supporting our community.
It was fantastic to visit their new location at 108 Elizabeth Street, Richmond, and see firsthand the breadth of their programs. A big shout-out to everyone who prepared the stalls, showcasing the diverse learning opportunities and the rich history of Carringbush. The turnout was a testament to the deep impact they have on so many lives.
From humble beginnings to an organisation that continues to change lives through education and empowerment, the NJC is proud to collaborate with Carringbush. Here’s to many more years of making a difference!
